Playing time will be equal among all players.
Games will be refereed by Coaches. Player development is our main focus at U9. Basic knowledge of the game will be coached throughout the scrimmage.
Only player-to-player defense is permitted.
No double team/crowding is allowed.
Stealing from the dribbler is not allowed.
No pressing is permitted.

Hoops will be placed at 9’ (2.7m). If hoops are not marked, use best judgment or ask a facility host for assistance. Coaches can agree to lower if needed. Reminder: if hoops are adjusted, they must be returned to their original position at the end of the game.
Game time can be determined by coaches running the bench. This means coaches can call timeouts to ensure players get rest when it is required. (There will be no score clock provided for U9 scrimmages.)

Players on each line will play a full 4:00 before substitutions as much as possible
