Land Acknowledgement

Red Deer Minor Basketball Association respectfully acknowledges and honours the First Peoples of this land, recognizing the traditional territory of Treaty 7 nations, including the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’sina and Stoney Nakoda peoples; and Treaty 6 nations, traditional Cree and Saulteaux territory. We also recognize the area we serve falls under the Métis Nation of Alberta’s Region 3. We strive to continually build strength and relationship with one another, offering our gratitude to the First Nations and Métis who have and continue to care for and teach about our Earth, our relations, and our connection to one another.
