Ravens teams will require a volunteer to act as Team Manager. This individual not only supports in the tasks listed in the "Parent Commitment" tab, but will also be required to:

  • Arrange accommodations for away tournaments: Coordinating where the team will stay on overnight tournaments is the most important role of the Team Manager. You must block off rooms for the number of players/parents who will be staying together, considering cost and length of stay. Some players/parents will choose to drive home instead of staying overnight. Note: Coaches are not allowed to stay in hotel rooms with athletes unless the athlete is their child.
  • Coordinate transportation: Transportation is an important role for out of town tournaments/games. Parents/guardians are expected to assume responsibility and make their own arrangements for athletes' transportation. Note: Coaches are not allowed to give rides to any athlete unless the athlete is their child.
  • Arrange meals away: Your role is to plan which feasible restaurant the team will be going to and make reservations for the number of athletes and additional persons as necessary.
